Fair Isle Cap and Gloves: Cap
by Weldons
Out of print.

’The effective Fair Isle pattern used for this delightful set is very easy to follow. Gloves and cap are both knitted on four needles. A Fair Isle pattern is particularly hard wearing as it gives the strength of double knitting.’
Measurements: Round lower edge of cap about 18 inches; depth from centre of crown 4.5 inches.
This pattern is the 4th one in the scrolling list on the bottom of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s 1940s Patterns to Knit Page. If you cannot find it on that page, then Direct Download PDF here.
