Fair Isle Crochet Stocking
This is a listing for a stranded Crochet Stocking Pattern that looks just like knit!! I LOVE fair isle designs of every kind and that along with the holidays is what inspired me to create this beautiful and festive Christmas stocking! I know it looks like knit but is is actually designed using the single crochet waistcoat stitch.
Pattern is rated Intermediate as you do need to have a decent crochet background, be familiar with tapestry crochet and be able to carry your yarn behind your work and change yarn colors as needed.
Pattern is written in American crochet terminology and is rated Intermediate. Stitches used are:
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
ws = waistcoat stitch
sc2tog = single crochet 2 together
Pattern includes chart/graph for stranded design but also has detailed step-by-step directions, photo tutorials, helpful hints and guidelines, and even a stitch tutorial to go over the waistcoat stitch and how to change yarn colors.
If you have any questions at all please feel free to message me, I am always happy to help!
Thank you!
