If you live in a cold climate, you might as well keep your fingers warm and whip up the Deer Fair Isle Crochet Mitten Pattern. Warm hands are crucial to surviving those chilly months. It’s a beautiful crochet colorwork accessory that mimics the look of knit.

The single crochet stitches for these mittens are worked in the center ‘V’ of each stitch, which results in the split single crochet (ssc) or waistcoat stitch. It helps the colorwork in crochet line up a little bit better. These mittens are worked in the round continuously to avoid an unsightly seam. 390 yds per mitten pair (2 balls approx 170 yards of color A and 210 yards of color B)
