Fair Isle In-the-Round Rug
Summary This colorwork rug is knit in the round as a large tube, using two colors per round. The tube is then cut open, and the edge stitches are unraveled to form the fringe.
Additional Needle Information As this project is knit in the round, circular needles are required, 24” or longer.
Additional Yarn Information Sample rug in the book uses:
- (A) 2 skeins, #131 tan
- (B) 5 skeins, #129 cream
- (C) 2 skeins, #142 blue
- (D) 2 skeins, #144 green
- (E) 2 skeins, #146 yellow
- (F) 2 skeins, #140 mauve
- (G) 2 skeins, #138 lavender
The pattern will not use all of the yarn, and the Design Tip states: You should have enough yarn to make the rug plus a few accent pillows.
