These mittens are worked in the round from the cuff up.
You knit the mittens first and then stitch the motif onto it.
The four-color motif around the cuff uses the Fair Isle tradition
and added after knitting using Duplicate stitch, however they
could be added whilst knitting using the stranded colorwork method.
