Fairisle Scoody
This scoody is really pretty and really warm but also very thick because the fairisle scarf fabric is doubled. A machine with patterning ability is required. Consider making it on the short side and closing it with a shawl pin rather than knotting it. Use any fairisle card you like. Long floats are okay because they will be fully enclosed. The hood is knitted separately and sewn on. Any yarn and gauge may be used. Gauge will vary with exact choice of fairisle design so the pattern includes instructions on adjusting for that.
