The Fairlight Hat knits up quickly in super-soft Merinolux DK and light but cozy Gossamer. Only one yarn is used at a time with just a couple of slipped stitches in between, so this is a great pattern if you are new to mosaic knitting.

Suggested Yarn​​:
1 skein Barker Wool Merinolux DK in Pink Cedar,
& 1 skein Barker Wool Gossamer in Serenade.

Finished Measurements to fit 21”-23” head circumference

Measured flat after blocking:
Brim at cast on edge, 6”
Widest point of the body, 8.5”
Height from cast on to bind off, 8.5”

Size may be increased or decreased by adding or subtracting stitches in multiples of 4.

Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) and US 3 (3.25mm) 16” circular needles and US 5 DPNs.

Gauge 24 sts and 24 rows = 4” in mosaic pattern with larger needles (US 5) after blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
