Notes:
This would be considered a beginner skill level pattern. It is made entirely by single crochet, but you must have a clear understanding of single crochet increase/decrease.

Materials:
You will need yarn, 4.25 mm crochet hook, 2.25 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, and poly-fill for stuffing. You may want to use safety eyes or embroidery floss to create the faces.

Let’s Talk Yarn!
You will need to use #4 worsted weight yarn for this project. You will need 30 yards of 2 different colors. I used Red Heart Super Saver for my fungi/mushroom! Feel free to use any color or brand you prefer as long as it is worsted weight yarn.

Gauge:
7 sc stitches by 8 rows = 2 inches when using worsted weight yarn and a 4.25 mm crochet hook. Gauge is not very important for this pattern. You just want to crochet tight enough that poly-fill does not poke out the holes of your project.

Final Measurement:
Your finished fungi/mushroom will measure 7 1/2 inches tall. Your finished fungi/mushroom will measure 5 ½ inches from arm to arm!

Abbreviations:
-Ch: chain
