The pattern PDF includes three documents.
One is the pattern which features instructions as well as the color charts for the hat pictured here (Plucky Knitter Kit No. 01).
The second document contains color charts ONLY for each Plucky Knitter Kit (No.’s 2-12) featured in the Winter 2020 Capsule Collection. These color charts correspond the hat graphics seen on the website update and are for the convenience of the knitter.
The third document consists of larger photos of the graphic renderings of each hat. It is meant to provide a supplemental aide to the color charts.

A study in color play, the “Fairview” hat uses the same four contrasting colors that are placed differently in four separate hats. This rotation of color offers a variety of coordinated hats, maximizes yarn usage and minimizes remnants! It’s a perfect choice for holiday gift knitting. The pattern instructions include multiple sizes.
Knitted in either Plucky Knitter Terra DK or Beau DK, both of which offer generous yardages to easily accommodate four adult sized hats as well as a Pom Pom topper made from yarn remnants!

Four contrasting colors of a DK weight yarn.
Hats featured in the photos are knitted using The Plucky Knitter Terra DK, 100% Certified Organic Merino, 325 yards, 115 grams.

Pattern Notes:
General

  • There are four different versions using the same colors. In each version, the colors are rotated to give all the hats a uniquely different look. This yarn sequencing enables maximum usage of each color while allowing yardage for a generous Pom Pom.
  • Hats pictured in this pattern are all Adult Medium (18” circumference)
  • A Clover Pom Pom maker (No. 3126) was used to make the yarn Pom Poms. There are two sizes in this Clover set, and the smaller size (pale green) Pom Pom maker was used.
  • The Pom Poms weigh between 18-20 grams each which equates to 50-55 yards for one Pom Pom.
