Fairy Belles
This pattern contains instructions for 3 Fairy Belles. These little dolls are fun to make and only require small amounts of yarn. Each Fairy has a different dress which can be removed. Wings are also removable although dresses and wings can be permanently stitched in place if preferred.
NB. If you have my ‘Little Belles’ doll pattern you will find that the clothes in the pattern also fit the Fairies and vice versa.
SIZE: LITTLE BELLES - each one is 15cm (6 in)
NEEDLES: knitted on two straight 2.75 mm needles (US 2)
YARN: Small amounts of DK (double knitting) yarn are required (USA - light-worsted/Australia - 8 ply).
The Fairies’ hair is made from mohair yarn although DK yarn can be used if preferred. More details of the yarns used are in the pattern.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, increase, decrease and yrn (wrap yarn round needle).
PATTERN: 9 page PDF file with plenty of pictures and step by step instructions
