Fairy Dress
This is a charming, lightweight pixie dress that can be worn as a beach cover up, over a slip, or on its own with a cute pair of shorts/panties. So breezy and light, its perfect for your favorite summer time beach, festival, or other outdoors activity! Twirling in this delightful skirt is just such a dream. This pattern features intricate embellishments along the bodice, a stunning lacy t-back design, and a beautifully detailed skirt.
This pattern is 25 pages long, with dozens of photos throughout the process!
Materials:
5(small)-6(large) skeins of Lindy Chain or 900(small)-1,200(large)yds of cotton fingering weight yarn
D, E, and F hooks
Gauge: 12dc x 4 rows = 2” x 2” with D hook
Notes on sizing:
Pattern is written for a size small. Medium and large instructions are in parenthesis. (medium, large).
Small fits 30”-33” bust
Medium fits 34”-37”
Large fits 38”-40”
Pattern includes notes on how to adjust the size of the dress either smaller or larger than original pattern. The pattern of the bodice and skirt are based on an 8dc repeat, and thus can be adjusted smaller/larger than the outlined instructions. There are notes throughout for how to continue if you are not following the stitch count in the pattern.
The density of the meshing over the stomach is adjustable. In the listing photos, the pink is a looser mesh, and the teal is a denser mesh. Both of these are explained in the pattern.
Skirt length is also adjustable, and this process is outlined in the pattern as well.
