This pattern is based on a 4mm (G) hook with DK acrylic wool (I used Deramores Anti-piling DK).
You will need approx 400g (approx 1000-1500 yards) of yarn. I have done the whole blanket in one colour, but the border could be done in a different colour or have a contrast stripe.
Finished blanket measures 82cm x 87cm (32 inches x 34 inches).
You can choose to continue the border to make your blanket bigger, but this will mean that you need more yarn.

Gauge: 5inch square, 22tr/13rows. The gauge is not essential as this is not a garment, however it will give you an idea of the size of your finished blanket.
