Fairy Lace Baby Bonnet
Crochet this darling lacy bonnet in just a few hours with this quick pattern! Your little one will look adorable in this vintage-style bonnet! Using various yarn weights will offer you the size/sizes you need for your child. This pattern can also be used as a stash-buster.
It features a combination of simple double crochet stitches to form the back, a double crochet shell stitch and a little textured puff stitch to give you a classicly enduring appealing hat for baby!
Finished measurements for sample shown--which will fit 0-6 months and is worked in sport weight yarn are--6”(15cm) from front to back and about 13” (33cm) around brim.
Sizes are: preemie/newborn/0-3 months, and 3-12 months.
Yarn: 80 yards (73m) lace or fingering, and 90-100 yards (82--91m) sport or dk weight yarns to create various sizes from preemie to 12 months. A chart for yarn and compatible hooks is given.
Hooks and notions: sizes D/3/3.25; E/4/3.50; F/5/3.75; or G/6/4.00 hooks; yarn needle to sew in ends; and 24” (61cm) ¼” ribbon length for tie if desired.
