The pumpkins are easy to knit and there are four sizes to choose between: XS, S, M and L

Good for leftovers of yarn

The pumpkins are good to use up any yarn leftovers you must have.

In total for a pumpkin the yarn usage is:
6 - 27 grams or in oz 0.2 - 1 oz

Diameter and height

The diameter is approximately:
5 (6,5) 9 (12) cm and in inches: 2 (2.6) 3.5 (4.7) in

The height is approximately:
4 (5) 6,5 (8)cm and in inches: 1.6 (2) 2.6 (3.1) in

Christmas ornaments or table decorations

The fairy tale pumpkins can be used as indoor decorations both in fall and for Christmas.
The small ones are also good as hanging Christmas ornaments while the bigger ones are more suited as a table decoration.

Double stranded yarn

I have knitted the pumpkins with double stranded yarn, a light fingering yarn and a more fluffy one, with a shimmering effect. But as long as you keep the gauge you can do as you like.
