These cuffs are a bit of woolly frippery, fairy flowers for your hands! They are not terribly complex and are a nice quick knit. Because of their design they will fit a wide variety of hand sizes.

This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter, although I am sure that an adventurous beginner would not find it too difficult.

The pattern assumes that the knitter will be familiar with working in the round (either using the magic loop method, or five needles), yarn overs (YO) and picking up stitches from knitted fabric.

50 grams fingering weight yarn, using two strands held together, preferably a silk, bamboo or tencel blend. You could substitute a worsted weight yarn and just use a single strand.

The sample shown was worked using two strands of Doric Dragons hand dyed fingering weight yarn in a 50% merino/50% tencel blend.

15 grams lace weight mohair type yarn, using two strands held together.

The sample shown used Ice Yarns Kid Mohair Classic, a blend of 70% mohair and 30% polyamide.

One 4mm circular needle or set of five needles, depending on your preference for working in the round.

this is the pattern only and does not include a finished garment.
