This jacket features a bottom hem and raglan yoke and requires minimal sewing. the body is worked in one piece, knitted flat, starting from the bottom, with two button bands incorporated into the body piece. The sleeves are also hemmed, and worked in the round, starting at the cuffs, and then knitted together with the body for the raglan yoke. The yoke includes some short row shaping. The underarm stitches are kept on holders during the knitting and then grafted invisibly (using kitchener stitch) at the end.
