Fairytale Sweater is an exciting, lovely, and fluffy jacquard sweater, knitted from the top down in Fat Mohair.

The sweater features numerous enchanting patterns that intertwine with each other.

The sweater is knitted from the top, starting with the back and then the front piece.

The back begins with short rows to shape the shoulders, then continues straight down while increases form the armholes. After the armholes, the lower back section is knitted and finished with a ribbed edge.

Next, the front pieces are knitted, also incorporating short rows to shape the shoulders, as well as increases for the neckline and armholes. The lower front section is then knitted and finished with a ribbed edge.

Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, and short rows are used to shape the sleeve cap. The sleeves are knitted back and forth and finished with a ribbed edge.

Afslutningsvis strikkes en ribkant i halsen, og side- og ærmesømme syes sammen.

The entire sweater is knitted using colorwork according to charts. As the intricate fairy tale patterns consist of many small motifs, the intarsia technique is also used.

We have also prepared kits for the Fairytale Sweater, which you can find here.
