This blanket is not about inventing complicated stitches,
but about telling stories.
If sometimes the stitches become complicated because of that,
I can’t help it.

Once upon a time there was a funny old lady.
This lady loved to dream.
She dreamed about a crocheted world.
And what a wonderful world it was.
Everything was possible.
Everything was just a different dance performed by color, yarn and hook…

I dedicate this Fairytales CAL to Musa, my brave little grandson. The first 10 months of his life, doctors, nurses, his parents and most of all he himself have fought for him to survive and have not given up. Now he is home! This fairytale hasn’t ended yet, but we dare to hope that it will continue well.

It is really a challenging pattern. If I have to classify it, I would say it is suitable for the intermediate crocheter. It requires concentration and accurate reading of the descriptions though. However, I think you can do it. The descriptions are elaborate and contain many pictures. There will also be a video of every part as support.

The CAL will start on September 5th, 2019. It is divided into 10 parts. From the 2nd part on, every next part will be released bi-weekly.

Pauline Vos made her wonderful Fairytales in just 2 colors in Aran weight and hook size 5.5 mm. The size of her blanket is 180 x 180 cm. She used 20 skeins, 100 gr / 241 m.

Heidrun Liegmann made her Fairytales in the 12 colors I advised in Stylecraft DK and with hook size 4.5 mm. The size of her blanket is 153 x 153 cm. The Information file will tell you how much yarn you will need of all 12 colors used.
