When I went through the photos on my camera, which I had left out for guests to take pictures with during our wedding day. One caught my eye. It wasn’t the face of any of our lovely guests or my new husband and I cutting our cake, they were wonderful of course, but I expected to see those. It was the candid snap of confetti in the tail of my beloved dog Bobbin.

Looking smart in his bow tie, Bobbin was at my side throughout our wonderful day, and as confetti - thrown by loved ones rained down, a few pieces had become caught up in Bobbins’ bushy, fluffy tail and made the perfect picture - the perfect representation of my faithful friend and important family member sharing in our little familys’ special day.

About the Socks

The Faithful Friend Socks feature a gentle lace pattern designed to mimic that tail full of confetti - a tribute to my own faithful friend. These socks are knitted cuff down and finished with a slipped stitch heel flap and a rounded wedge toe. The easy lace is designed to be quick to memorise and master, making it a satisfying project for sock knitters of all levels.
