This is an intermediate pattern, worked in heavy weight wool yarn on size 10 ½, 8, and 2 circular needles. This
pattern is worked in stockinette stitch, intarsia, I-cord, and short rows. Latch hook technique and basic needle felting
are also used for detail work. The knit side will be the right side. This pattern uses approximately 125 yards of
heavy weight pumpkin orange(or), 75 yards of black(b), and 75 yards of white(w). The project also 5 yards of
pumpkin orange in sport weight, and 3 yards sport weight black yarn. The finished project is then fulled.
Stitch gauge -3 sts per inch /5 rows per inch before fulling.
