Circular knitting needle size 9 (5.5 mm), 40 in. (101.5 cm) long

Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches picked up along each side of the Strips. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

Afghan is made from 5 Strips. Each Strip is worked in 6 different slip stitch patterns.

Each slip stitch pattern uses 2 colors of yarn, working 2 rows with each color.

The directions for each Strip will specify which color to use in each section. The colors have all been chosen to coordinate with each other-if you work a row or two with the ‘wrong’ color, don’t worry! Your Afghan will still be beautiful.
