Easy and quick crochet pattern that can be completed in a day.
US terminology.
Main stitches: single crochet, half double crochet.
Approx. size when finished: 5.5”

The figure has 2 parts: an insert “the guy” and a skin.
You can make as many skins as you want in all different colours.
T-rex skin pattern available separately but you need this base pattern to make it.
More skin variations in different designs coming soon! (but you won’t have to make another insert saving you yarn and stuffing!

Materials needed:
• yarn of your choice and 1 or 2 sizes smaller hook than recommended
I used Paintbox cotton DK (light worsted) yarn in 450 Candyfloss Pink for the insert (“the guy”, 434 Marine Blue for one of the skin, 452 Lipstick Pink for the other skin and 423 Buttercup Yellow for the crown.
• 2.5mm crochet hook (but a 3mm is good too)
• Black embroidery thread and needle for the eyes
• Fibre fill
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Optional: buttons or press studs for the back opening
