“Fall Leaf Motifs” PDF Pattern -- Can be used alone, or as appliques.

This pattern features four different realistic fall leaves--the same leaves that can be found in my “Autumn Leaves and Lace” Doily (link below). (Only this pattern includes the instructions for the leaf stems, not included in the doily version.) These motifs can be made in any size thread or yarn, and applied to afghans, clothing, etc.--the possibilities are endless!

PATTERN DETAILS:

• Full written instructions
• Instructions are in English, with standard US crochet terms
• Multiple photos included, showing detail, and for visual instructions

Skill level: Easy to Intermediate (varies by leaf)
Materials needed:

• Size 10 (bedspread weight) crochet thread
• Size 7 (1.65mm) (or preferred size) steel crochet hook -OR-
• Size 4 medium, worsted weight yarn
• Size G (4.00mm) (or preferred size) yarn crochet hook -OR-
• Yarn/thread and hooks of your choice :)
• Small tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Blocking board (or other blocking surface) and rust-proof pins (optional)

Finished sizes for Maple Leaf, approximately:
3” across in size 10 thread
-OR-
6 1/2” across in worsted weight yarn
