The PDF includes both written instructions and a chart, for people who are more visual knitters.

This pattern is for a short scarf that reflects the colors of fall. It is created through the use of double-stranded knitting and stranded colorwork techniques, with a seed stitch border. While the pattern is meant for a short scarf to be worn with a scarf pin, it could be increased in length to make a full size scarf. This project is a good way to use up small amounts of yarn, as each leaf calls for a very small amount of it.

Yarn:
I recommend Knit Picks Gloss DK, as it has a good range of colors as well as being amazingly soft. Note that the yarn will be held double in this pattern.
