Fallberry is a small and cosy garter and stocking stitch triangular shawl, featuring a clean, textural, slipped stitch edge. The wide wingspan allows the shawl to be wrapped around the neck like a scarf, making it highly versatile to wear.

Yarn
White Gum Wool Ethical Superfine Merino 4ply, (100% Merino Wool; 516 yards/472 metres per 3.5 oz/100 grams): Hawthorn, 1 ball.
The sample used approx. 400 yards/365 metres of yarn.

Needles & Notions
US 6/4 mm circular needle, 32 inches/80 cm or longer (to accommodate the large number of stitches); Stitch markers (one in an alternate colour).

Gauge
17 stitches and 38 rows per 4 inches/10 cm in garter stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial but a different gauge will alter the finished size, drape and amount of yarn required.
