Falling Drops Shawl
Falling Drops is knitted top down in a triangular shape. To create this shape, 4 yo’s are used to increase the number of stitches as we knit. The shawl construction starts with a few stitches at the top of the neck and further yarn overs are added every RS row.
The shawl is both charted and written. There are three edge stitches on both sides. The spine or centre has 3 stitches in some rows and only one stitch on others
The shawl can be enlarged by adding extra repeats of the body and edge. It can also be customised to a shawlette version with less repeats
The shawl has been tested in both lace and fingering weight both as the sample size and customized repeats of charts 3,4 & 5 by FrecheMasche, cocobrownie9, Tigerli, Acolgar, KateB660, Sparkleshan, pinhappy and serratoni whom I owe my thanks.
Hope you enjoy knitting this one!
