This fun sock to make and wear looks nice in either a variegated yarn, or a solid yarn. (If you wish to “see” the leaves more distinctly, use a solid color yarn, such as Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn.) The “falling leaves” makes one think of fall, so the one pictured here is knitted in the colors of leaves turning in the fall. It is not a difficult lace to do, so it’s suitable for knitters that are new to lace.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, purling, decreasing, and YO’s)

This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium and Large.
