This lightweight autumn hat is a great way to use up some leftover sock yarn!

Sizes M, L for a finished hat size of 39cm, 44cm when unstretched. The hat is very stretchy, so L is mostly for those who particularly prefer loose hats.

Sample shown is size L.

This hat is knit from the crown downwards, and is suitable for either magic loop or DPNS. The pattern provides charts for the entire hat. There is some flexibility in length. Since it’s knitted top down, you can try it on as you go!
