Size: Dimensions are approximate and will depend on your yarn and gauge.

Scarf: 45” / 115 cm long & 9” / 23 cm wide.
Shawl: 60” / 150cm long & 44” / 112cm wide.

Yarn: A single strand of DK or 4ply/fingering & lace held together.

Yardage:

Scarf: At least 50g / 115m DK (230m/100g) or 115m of each strand if held double.

Shawl: 125g / 415m 4ply/fingering (400m/100g) & 50g / 415m lace weight (225m/25g) or 415m of DK if held single.

Gauge: Gauge is not important, should be approximately 14 stitches & 24 rows per 4” / 10cm in lace/garter after blocking.

Needles: 5.5mm straight or circular needles. Needle size is recommended, you can go up or down in needle size to alter the fabric density, but remember this will also change the size of the finished item and yardage.

Notions: At least 1 stitch marker for the shawl.

Construction & Modification: Constructed from the small edge up you can make this as big or small as you like, instructions for altering the size are given in the pattern.
