This triangular shawl celebrates the autumn phenomenon of trees shedding their leaves, featuring a cascade of falling leaves with garter edges. Leaves are created in diagonal “strands” which end at different lengths.

Overall blocked size is 58 1/2 “x 31 1/2” (146.25 x 78.75 cm) in fingering weight yarn, although that can be adjusted by adding or dropping rows of leaves as desired. Sport weight yarn creates a slightly larger shawl.

Materials: approximately 1000 yards of yarn, circular needles US 4, US 5, and US 6, 6 stitch markers, and tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
