Falling Leaves sweater
A classic DK lace diamond sweater pattern with vintage-inspired details. Whether you pin this retro beauty to your moodboard, come back to look at the page every week, or knit it for yourself, you’ll bring a little romance to the everyday. Even if it’s in the office, school pickup, or food shopping…some days just need a little bit extra.
In my book, there’s nothing to NOT love about a classic jumper that elevates the everyday. The square neckline isn’t extraordinary – but it’s just that little bit different. And when you introduce that detail to lacy leaves and gently ballooning sleeves, well…suddenly a wardrobe workhorse turns into a staple show pony!
Falling Leaves also includes dart shaping by way of yoke decreases and increases. The transition row between the leaf diamond stitch pattern and moss stitch yoke is your chance to adjust the stitch count to fit different areas of your body.
Advice is given in the pattern notes to help you nail the fit - and you can also contact me anytime with questions.
Gauge: 20sts x 26 rows to 10cm over leaf diamond pattern | 24sts x 28 rows over double moss stitch pattern
