Falling Star Pattern consists of 2 parts.
The Star is crocheted in rounds with changing colour every round. Begin each round (except the first one) with a standing stitch. The tail is worked in rows with turning your work and crocheting on the Right Side and Wrong Side. Change the colour in every row. Read carefully the pattern notes and use the or a photo tutorial (p.6) as a reference.

Pattern notes:
Falling Star pattern consists of 2 parts. First, the star is made in rounds. Second, a tail is crocheted in rows.

Star:

1. Please make yourself familiar with front and back post stitches before you start.
2. You can finish off each round in your preferred method. I recommend using an invisible join when the colour changes in the next round.
3. When possible start a new round with a standing stitch.
4. This pattern includes a large chart on page 3. Start every round by the mark ‘start’ and the number of the round. Follow the round from right to left.

Tail:

1. The tail is crocheted in rows, work on the right side and the wrong side.
2. Always change to a new color when you still have 2 loops on your hook (to finish the last stitch in the new color). After the colour change, place the previous yarn on top of the crocheted piece, carry the tail behind your work, and continue to crochet with the new colour over it.
3. Ch1 and Ch3 at the beginning of the row doesn’t count as a stitch. The first stitch of a row is made in the last stitch of the previous row.
4. All FPtr are made in two rows below (except of row 3), and always in front of your work.
5. This pattern includes a large chart on page 3. Start every row by the mark ‘start’ and the number of the row. Rows on the Right Side (1, 3, 5, etc.) are read from right to left, and rows on the Wrong Side (2, 4, 6, etc.) are read back across from left to right.

Always check stitch count at the end of each round.

Feel free to make your own colourway; just try to start a new colour with a standing stitch and finish with an invisible join for the best result.
