Falling Water Shawl
This simple but elegant top-down triangle shawl was inspired by art deco style and named after Frank Lloyd Wright’s striking house, Fallingwater, of the same period. Worked in a shimmery wool/silk blend, the body of stockinette is graced by the “Fountain” lace stitch and a short lace border. The size can be easily adjusted by changing the yarn weight and needle size, or by changing the length of the stockinette portion (instructions in Pattern Notes).
Both charted and written instructions are provided.
3/17/11 Note: If you use markers for the lace section, you will have to move one marker over to the right after each repeat.
