Falynn Wrap
Explore some simple stitches to create a beautiful, functional wrap. Worked in Tunisian crochet, the wrap has both weight and texture. I wanted to design something that was relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern, but that included an interesting range of Tunisian stitches. The centre of the wrap is worked first, using a combination of Tunisian Simple Stitch, Tunisian Knit Stitch, Tunisian Purl Stitch, a Long Front Post stitch and Bobbles. The Honeycomb stitch border is added by picking up stitches along the sides of the central panel, and allows the wrap to drape without curling at the edges. Once complete, I added a simple round of standard double crochet (US single crochet). For added interest, I used two contrasting colours in Scheepjes Soft Fun Denim, a DK weight yarn.
