This cowl was designed as a texture sampler--fun to knit, and adjustable enough to use most of one skein of this luxurious yarn.

And it’s a cowl, because where better to wear 100% cashmere than right next to the sensitive skin of your neck?

Because From the Mountain is handspun, we did find some variation in yardage/WPI between the two colors the samples are made in.

The pattern name honors the softest cat who ever lived, Arwen, who was my husband’s familiar.
