The Family pattern ranges in size from very small child to very large adult. The sweater is an eazy to repeat pattern. This is a great pattern for someone who is just getting comfortable knitting a complete sweater and would be considered a beginner knit in two-color knitting.

Family is a Norwegian inspired design. The small pattern flecks (or louse) have been interpreted in many ways over the years. Working in two colors adds to the insulation properties of a sweater as the carried yarn at the back of the work increases the bulk of the sweater.
