Family Bonds Hat
This hat was inspired by a summer spent on the Norwegian coast, fishing, hiking, enjoying campfire meals with family, and soaking in every aspect of the outdoors that we could manage. From our island home, in a single 360-degree turn, we could see snow-capped mountains and vast seas; In between were colourful houses and sprawling farms perched at the edge of the water or nestled amongst majestic trees. The sky was huge and, in the height of summer, never completely dark. While we enjoyed the surroundings, we shared stories of generations no longer with us, whose lives had shaped ours and with whom we were forever linked.
Knitted with eight colours of fingering weight yarn, this beanie provides plenty of opportunity for you to choose a colour palette inspired by your own story and memories.
This pattern is also available for Sport weight yarn.
