The Family sweater is a heavy, warm sweater. It is designed to be worn with some positive ease, so it can be used over a shirt or a light pullover.

It is knit using two colors, blending into each other by a simple slip-stitch pattern. The yoke features Estonian Braids, one-color horizontal rows of stitches. The Estonian Braid is easy to knit, but can of course be omitted for a cleaner, simpler look.

Yardage: The Family sweater is knit using two colors: color 1 for yoke and sleeves, and color 2 for the body.

The samples are knit in Drops Lima, color 9015 (color 1) and 0519 (color 2)

Needles: Circular needles, size 3 mm / US3 and 4 mm / US 6. You need to use Magic Loop or double-pointed needles for the sleeves.
Cabling needle (or double-pointed needle) size 4 mm or smaller.

Gauge: 20 stitches x 26 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches
