Family Sweater, adult
The Family sweater is a heavy, warm sweater. It is designed with some positive ease, so it can be worn over a shirt or a light pullover.
It is knit using two colors, blending into each other by a simple slip-stitch pattern. The yoke features Estonian Braids, one-color horizontal rows of stitches. The Estonian Braid is easy to knit, but can of course be omitted for a cleaner, simpler look.
The Family Sweater is a uni-sex model and can be made for both men and women. The deep raglan allows for positive ease for women and create space for shoulders and chest for men. The only difference between the men’s and women’s sweater is the length of body and sleeves.

The samples are knit in Drops Lima (2-color version) and Harrisville Design Nightshades (black version).
Needles: Circular needles, size 3 mm / US3 and 4 mm / US 6. You need to use Magic Loop or double-pointed needles for the sleeves.
Cabling needle (or double-pointed needle) size 4 mm / US 6 or smaller.
Needle size is only a suggestion! Knit a swatch and choose the needle size with which you get gauge!
