I was looking for a cowl pattern that was snugger around the neck, looser around the shoulders, that used some fan/feather but added ribbing. Decided to create one as a gift, and love what resulted! I did this one still loose enough for various neck sizes, but one could go down to 7’s (I used 16” sz 8 circulars) for the ribbing part if one wanted it more snug.
