• Yarn needle: any size, as long as the yarn can go through the eye, and the needle can go through stitches
• Scissors

The size of the leaf depends on the yarn weight and the crochet hook size.

As a reference, with Size 4 Medium yarn (gauge info on yarn label: 5 MM/13 SC/14 R) and a 3.5 mm crochet hook, the size of the leaf is approximately 3.75” across.
