Fanad Head Vest
I am now retired from knit design due to progressive arthritis and I am offering my designs to Ravelry users for free. I will not be providing designer support any longer but my patterns are tech edited and almost all have been tested
By popular demand, I published Fanad Head Vest for those who loved Fanad Head sweater but wanted no sleeves. IF YOU OWN THE SWEATER PATTERN, NO NEED TO PURCHASE THIS PATTERN. Just use the materials amounts here and finish the armholes with the directions below.
This no-sewing, drop shoulder, boat neck, textured and St st vest is worked with sailor’s rib and symmetric flag symbols for the texture on the bottom ribbing and above the bust line. The shoulders are shaped with short rows, then joined with an exposed 3-Needle BO. The armholes are picked up to provide a finished and durable edge.
