Fanad Head
I am now retired from knit design due to progressive arthritis and I am offering my designs to Ravelry users for free. I will not be providing designer support any longer but my patterns are tech edited and almost all have been tested
FANAD HEAD is a great first sweater project for an advanced beginner! “Knit a level up” with my YouTube and IG TV tutorials and detailed and clear short rows in texture instruction. The oversized construction complements all body types.
FANAD HEAD is a no-sewing, drop shoulder, boat neck, textured and St st sweater is worked with sailor’s rib and symmetric flag symbols for the texture on the bottom ribbing and above the bust line. The shoulders are shaped with short rows, then joined with an exposed 3-Needle BO. The sleeves are picked up and worked in St st to the flag-ribbed finished cuff with a decorative slit at the thumb.
Thanks to The Fibre Co. for choosing me in the Yarn Support Programme and to the Fanad Head Feature LYS, Yarn Bar in Billings, for all the support in this design!
