Finally, Football is Back!!

And yeah, it’s going to be a little different this year and I’m going to miss those Friday Night Lights like everyone else. But there’s nothing to stop us from showing the world our favorite team colors while out on a walk. So, this is my gift to you. Football starts tonight, and I bet you can have this hat whipped up by the time the fourth quarter is over!

Materials:
Yarn:
MC: 100 yds worsted weight yarn for the main color
CC1: 5 grams for the wider stripes
CC2: 3 grams for the narrow center stripe.
Note: You will need more of your CC1 & CC2 if you want to include them in your pompom.
Needles:
US Size 7 16” circs
US Size 7 DPNs
Marker

This hat fits heads from 19” - 21” but it’s easy to size it up or down.
This pattern uses a simple jogless stripe technique so color changes are invisible.
