The Fancy Business Cowl is a simple double thickness cowl knit in a tube using five fingering weight 20 gram mini skeins. It features a provisional cast on followed by alternating stockinette and mosaic colorwork sections.

I chose to design this pattern as a close fitting single wrap cowl to keep out drafts on a cold fall or winter day. With this in mind, row gauge becomes especially important if you wish to achieve the same look. However, if you prefer to create a more drapey or even double wrap infinity cowl, simply make your stockinette sections longer or add additional mini skeins to increase the length of your cowl. The options are limited only by your imagination.

This project is great for scraps or assorted mini skeins because you can make each section work to fit your needs. The final cowl is approximately 21 inches in circumference and 16 inches wide after grafting the ends together and blocking.

Thank you to all my lovely test knitters for helping me with this pattern. Your time and suggestions were beyond helpful!
