I designed this pattern as a way to make a pretty, usable item out of small amounts of yarn. It will be available for free with purchase of my new handspun Yarn Shots, which are 1oz skeins of fingering weight handspun designed to make handspun accessible to yarn lovers of all budgets. It’s also perfect for using up small amounts of fingering weight yarn left over from other projects, and could easily be adapted to any other yarn weight by simply changing the needle size. It’s a great introduction to lace, or a fast gift knit. I have two of these so far and never fail to receive compliments on them.
