These easy to make crochet chicken and chicks work up fast and are perfect for gift giving or markets!

Using a 10 mm hook and bulky yarn the chickens will end up measuring approximately 7” x 7” and the chicks will be 4”x3”

You will need:
Weight 6 yarn in desired colors (reference chickens were made with Bernat Blanket Speckle in Typewriter and Cream)
Weight 6 or 7 yarn in desired colors for chicks (recommend weight 7 yarn and reference chick used Chenille Home Maison Chenille in Black Tweed and Black and White Tweed)
8-10mm crochet hook (reference image used 10mm)
10 mm Safety Eyes
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stuffing
