It uses the thermal stitch to create a double-thick fabric that is perfect for hot pads, coasters, placemats, floor mats, etc. Change colors as often or as seldom as you’d like, or not at all! Solid-colored hot pads need love, too, and you can easily create monochrome hot pads by eliminating the color changes in this pattern.

For Large Hot Pads (8” x 8”) you will need approximately 110 yards total of worsted weight, 100% cotton yarn.

For Small Hot Pads (7” x 7”) you will need approximately 80 yards total of worsted weight, 100% cotton yarn.
