Description

Modular socks composed of fan, also known as shell, shaped units. Made from the toe up with an unusually shaped afterthought heel. This project seems to go a little faster than the Diamond Patch socks because the fans are larger than the mitered squares and it’s difficult to put these down in mid-piece.

Tips

It’s very important to achieve the correct gauge–9 sts/1”. And, be sure to use itty bitty ends when joining new strands of yarn; no use wasting any of that precious handpaint yarn.
