This very simple, but very lovely hat design knits up quickly on size 6.5 mm (US 10.5) needles.

It is especially designed to showcase handspun yarn but can be knit up just as well using commercial yarn.

I used about 2.2 ounces (about 100 yds) of my
Lunamuse Fiberart handspun yarn to knit the sample hat shown in the listing, fibers courtesy of Namaste Farms…

Skills needed: cast on, knit, purl, cabling, bind off, decreasing, sewing on button.
